Gaya is retired now. She gave us 16 wonderful puppies in three litters. We have descendants in our kennel - Joey and Mish, of whom we are very proud. Thank you, Gaya, for a great start to our breeding. It all started with you. Live a long time in great health. We love you very much and we are honored that fate has given you to us. Many thanks to Gill Rogers who trusted us and allowed us to have one of her lovely dogs
Gaya was born in 2016 in Australia.
Her breeder is Gill Rogers from Kuitpo Koolies.
Gaya is a very special dog. It's not perfect, but a special place in my heart. This is my first koolie, that I have imported. Gaya is a very social dog. Definitely a Velcro dog. She is not independent. Has a tremendous will to please and always works at 110%. Never gives up, even after a lot of repetitions. She works very fast, but you have to watch out for her excitement. She gets excited quickly and barks a lot while working.
She loves every job. We mainly train agility and sports obedience, but she also loves frissbe. She will do anything for you. Is very obedient and loves to cuddle. She, as a few of my koolies, uses her eye to work with sheep.
It collects and rounds them well, but cannot cope with stubborn sheep.
She is reserved in dealing with dogs she does not know, she ignores them. Likes to play in her group of dogs. She is very fast and very agile first and most important in the group. She is very confident in dealing with dogs but never aggressive. She can make a clear line when a dog is naughty to her. She likes to be the center of attention.
Gaya is resistant to pressure, does not refuse to work when I correct or get angry with her. She is very delicate when dealing with children. She could be a therapy dog
