Welcome to NORTH KOOLIES ​

We live in Poland, Pomerania. Near Gdańsk. We imported our first breeding dogs from Australia. They come from work lines and stations.

The Koolie is a very old Australian breed of sheepdog.

These dogs are very versatile. Agility, nose work (search for truffles, drugs, explosives, search for missing persons in rubble and under avalanches) Obedience sports, frisbee, flyball, canicross, bikejorking, dock diving, tricks, dog dancing, hoppers... A very good companion for active people.

They have a wonderful temperament and are good family dogs. KOOLIES ARE NOT  WORKAHOLIC.

They are always ready if you offer them a task, but they do not need something to do all the time. They love relaxing by your side.

We used to say that it has an ON/OFF button that works very well :)

Koolie is quite mentally strong, but not very tough and stubborn. Moderately active, but enjoys mental activity. Very easy to train. Our dogs undergo DNA testing and x-rays of their hip and elbow joints. All our dogs are in excellent condition and free from genetic diseases. Our breeding farm is registered with the Koolie Club of Australia. This organization registers our dogs, documents their origins, keeps litter books and issues pedigrees. Koolie is not recognized by the FCI therefore we do not have an appearance standard. Some Koolies are smaller, some larger. Some have long hair, others have short hair. Some have erect ears and others have floppy ears, but all of them have a good temperament. Gentle, active, non-aggressive, eager to please.
